I've been a dog person all my life, but if you had told me a few years ago that I would leave the corporate world behind to spend my days driving dogs around in a safari themed adventure van, I probably would have laughed. However, I decided it was finally time to follow my passion and build a career around something I genuinely love: dogs and adventure.

It all started with Cash...the inspiration behind Sniffing Safari: 

I've owned dogs all my life, but when Cash came into my life, it really changed the way I think. Cash has taught me that dogs need more than a quick walk around the neighborhood or a day spent in traditional doggie daycare. They need opportunities to sniff, explore, run, experience new places, and simply be dogs. They need enrichment, adventure, and experiences that engage their bodies and their curious minds.

That's where Sniffing Safari was born.

My goal is simple: to give dogs the kind of outings I wanted for Cash. I started imagining what I would want if I could design the perfect day out for my own dog. It wouldn't just be a walk...it would be an adventure. A chance to hop in the adventure vehicle, leave the neighborhood behind, discover new places where dogs can get plenty of exercise and enrichment, and come home happy, tired and satisfied.

Why Sniffing Safari? 

Because the best adventures aren't always about how far you go; they're about what you discover along the way. For a dog, a new trail can be an entire world. A beach is a treasure hunt of smells. A new patch of grass is worth investigating. And a private outdoor space can become an unexplored wilderness. That's the spirit behind Sniffing Safari.

Think of us as your dog's Adventure Guide. And because I know how important our dogs are to us, I don't take that responsibility lightly. 

My background in corporate HR taught me a lot about responsibility, communication, problem-solving, planning and caring for people in situations where trust matters. Those skills may have been developed in the corporate world, but they translate surprisingly well to taking care of someone's four-legged family member. I traded conference rooms for the coast, corporate meetings for muddy paws, and spreadsheets for safari adventures. And I couldn't be happier about it!
